‘One Laptop Per Child (OLPC)’

One Laptop Per Child Project Afghanistan distributed their first one hundred laptop computers to the children in Isteqlal Lycee in Jalalabad, Nangrahar province. The children who received the laptops were happy thinking that Afghanistan was entering a new phase.

In a country known for wars, warlords, poverty, Taliban, human rights abuses, ethnic tensions, drug trafficking, and corruption, the children had never expected that they will receive free laptops.
